Dr. Denis Dennehy

Denis Dennehy is a postdoctoral researcher at Lero | The Irish Software Research Centre with Prof Kieran Conboy. His research focuses on the application of flow techniques and metrics within the context of information systems development (ISD) and is informed through extensive engagement with industry project partners. This work is supported with the financial support of the Science Foundation Ireland grant 13/RC/2094 to Lero

His research deals with information systems (IS) and agile information systems development and their implications for people, processes and organisations. He has a keen interest in current discourse on the socio-technical aspects of ISD (Lean, flow-based software development, Scrum) and the emphasises on viewing activity systems (teams, organisations) beyond a single user.  He has published this work in leading outlets such as the International Conference on Information Systems, and the Journal of Systems & Software. 

Denis holds a BSc., MComm, and PhD in Business Information Systems from University College Cork, Ireland.
